As great looking car build in 1917 DetroitElectric (Model 68 Brougham) The most popular electric car of the time, advertising 80-100 miles range,in one hyper - miles test a Detroit Electric famously traveled over 211 miles on a single charge obviously passing my 2022 Mini Cooper SE with 114 miles range and that EV was build 105 years ago and looks as good as MiniSE

Considering its 10-horsepower motor, the Detroit Electric's top speed of 20 to 30 mph was impressive. The Detroit Electric wasn't ugly, but in 1899, the one-off, electric French streamliner, "The Never Satisfied," was better looking and was the first electric car to hit 60 mph. I wonder how fast it would have gone if it had been stretched to give the driver room to lay down inside the torpedo-like body shell?
