Saw a MINI Cooper SE at...

The first SE that I ever saw was a 2020-21 BRG parked at a local manufacturing plant. This was at least 4 years ago. I would subsequently see the same one (or at least I assume it was the same one) driving near where I work. The owner is an older man with (IIRC) a beard, and I assume (stereotyping) that he is an engineer at that company. I hadn't seen in a while, though, so got to wondering: do they still own it? Do they still work there? No sign of it in its usual parking space when I started looking last week . . . then just yesterday, there it was again, driving where I have seen it before! It pleased me to know that it was still in the same hands and (presumably) continuing to bring its owner joy.

(Now I need to go looking for the two that also periodically park in my garage, as well as the one that frequents a nearby high school.)

When I picked up my SE from service a couple days ago (a tale I'll hopefully post about soon), in the service bay was a likely 2020 light grey SE, with the yellow blade in the front grille. I'm almost certain that was one of the first five SEs delivered to the Twin Cities MINI dealer, because I remember seeing a model like that on the list I got to choose from as an early adopter. Although I opted for my custom-built Chili Red SE, so I didn't get one of the 2020s.

(I wasn't allowed to have a yellow blade on my red MINI, I guess because it might be mistaken for Ferrari?)
