Running the Air conditioner while charging.

Hi.

I was charging the clarity this afternoon. Turned on the AC. It was running, but was blowing out ambient air. I checked the climate control settings. AC was on, dialed down to low. I left it running but temp stayed ambient.

What am I doing wrong?
