Replacing Spoiler assembly on trunk lid

I backed into a tree and damaged the spoiler assembly. Since these are sold pre-finished in all the Clarity colors, I am considering replacing it myself rather than through an insurance claim. Has anyone taken it off or know how to do it? There are a couple of obvious bolts at either end (inside the trunk lid) but there seems to be some other hidden fasteners.

I have taken it apart to check the wiring to the third brake light but did not actually remove the spoiler. It has a few bolts and several clips.

The cutting is only to put the additional accessory decklid spoiler on top of the existing aero tail of the car. The OP would only be concerned with the instructions up to step 10.
