About 18 months ago, I had a slow leak in the sidewall of a nearly new Michelin Energy Saver A/S. I had bought the tire as a "take-off" so I had no warranty on the tire. After some research, I decided to try this product (Liquitube Tire Sealant Permanent Tire Repair)...
:
It is described as a permanent tire repair and is recommended only for tires without internal TPMS, which fits the Clarity. I didn't worry about any effects on the internal noise reducer (resonator), and if it reduced it's function, I can't tell it. I do use the Valve Cap TPMS that you can readily buy on Amazon, and it has had no effect on the function of that sensor. I'm getting close to replacing the tire now, so I thought I'd post to let others know this might be an option to fix a slow leak even in the sidewall since the Clarity doesn't have internal TPMS. I did purchase the 32oz size of this, but was only able to put about 16oz in the tire before I had the top come off from me putting too much pressure on the bottle as I injected it into the tire. I think the 16oz size would work fine.
Edited to add: As to why I put so much pressure on the bottle and blew off the top when I used the product, the "goop" seems to have some fibrous strands kind of like cotton or fiberglass in it. These can get clogged in the valve stem (even after you remove the valve in the stem). After I blew off the top, I took the hose off the valve stem and pushed the offending blocking fiber on into the tire with a small piece of nail/wire and tried again. This might need to be done a couple of times if the goop gets hard to push into the tire due to this fiber blocking the valve....
