Rear hip room only 48" wide?

I'm looking at the specs and the rear hip room seems narrow at 48". The rear shoulder room is about 55" so 48" for the hip seems wrong. I may need to install 3 car seats in the back so I would need it to be 51" to be safe. Can someone please measure the rear hip room for me?
