Problem with the controls in the driver’s door drawing power from the 12v battery

For the 4th time in 3 years my vehicle is off the road, immobilised because the 12v battery has died. In thesis state the vehicle can be turned on but no functions can be used. The car can’t even be turned off. The current explanation from the deal is an issue with a controller drawing substantial power continuously from the 12v battery until the battery can no longer be charged. I am told that this is not an ICCU issue. If it’s not an ICCU issue as well, why is the 12 volt battery not being topped up?

Now have AGM type battery (2026 MY) ,
Had 38 attempts to charge the battery (BM2 on the worst day) left it for over 60 days..... starts like a charm after 2 months;)
