Volvo dealers have been authorized to provide up to $1000 of installed accessories to XC40 purchasers who experience non-warranty related issues.

I think, but it's just a wild guess, that this is intended to make up for a slew of software features that aren't ready yet.

• Volvo on Call
• Android Auto and Carplay
• Sirius XM
• Scheduled Charging
• Plug & Charge

This is supposedly on top of the $500 ChargePoint credit or home charger.
