This software was Mac Keeper until recently but has had many negative opinions- presumably the reason for the new alias?

FWIW, Mac Cleaner made such a mess of my Mac that it needed a new OS X install to get it
working again. But that was 3 yrs ago, maybe it has improved? Whatever, the incessant popup got to me.
PS- I do appreciate the need for advertising revenue but 'Son of Mac Cleaner' is not a good choice...
