I have been thinking about getting an OpenEVSE charger for some time. Just looked at their website and they have a 20% off coupon (SUMMERPROJECT) available for all of their kits. This brings the price of the Advanced Series - 40A Kit Bundle down to $399, a great deal in my opinion. Website is openevse.com

That's a great deal! I paid twice that for my Bosch 40-amp EVSE last November. I didn't have this great forum to help me back then.

There are a few of us on here with OpenEVSEs. If you are confident in your DIY cred, it’s a great option. Much higher quality components than most of the similarly priced, foreign made ones on amazon.

For that price I think I’ll pick up another one.
