Noise from regenerative braking

I have recently (finally!) bought myself a Kia eNiro. I am wondering whether the amount of noise it makes on regenerative braking is normal. It's a 2021 with 76,000 miles on the clock. I have been experimenting with the different levels of regenerative braking, and am surprised by the amount of noise the car makes on levels 2 and 3. My previous car was a Leaf and on the B setting it made no extra noise at all (but then again it hardly did any regenerative braking on that setting either!). It sounds like a low growl, and it gets significantly louder as you go up from one level to the next. Is this normal, or should I take it into my Kia dealer? Also, is there any way to use cruise control without the annoying braking when there is a car 50 metres in front of me and the lane assist that practically pulls the steering wheel out of my hands?! Thanks.
