Yeah, you will have hard time getting any EV with rebate and at least 60kWh battery. The problem is that the Kona is really small car, especially the back hatch space. Niro is a bit bigger roomier overall, means better value to me. You are right, Tesla is starting to get close, but ... it is NOT a hatch, thus loses a lot of practicality value to me. I will never buy sedan, that's the way I am and my needs are. So, sounds like I will be riding the my ICE car to the ground, hopefully by that time the market will be sorted with enough practical hatchbacks around, in an out-the-door price I can live with. Or maybe someone will offer an affordable lease, just like when I got my Soul EV.
