May be going off topic here......I know BC Hydro offers very low cost electricity, but how does this work out for the fast DC L3 stations? In Ontario, L3 stations are typically in range from 50¢ to 65¢ per kWh.Not the most cost efficient location, I guess we have it pretty lucky here on the coast
Check Plugshare, this particular stn was $0.36 during rush hours and about $0.28 per kWh rest of time ( I believe after 4pm and till 10 am $ cheap check Tesla app)
It depends on speed (kW delivered).
BC Hydro has a new 400 kW group beside this location.
If I were on the road, I know which one I would choose.
Lots of time, even have time to eat burger or shake..

For $80 why bother beating up Hyndai. Look, these units are not exactly rocket science, it's more about the quality of the connectors used to make the DC connection. In my case the max charge rate is around 70KWH, so I'm not going to get excited about something rated for 500KW. Most stations are not going all that high anyway, and frankly your vehicle is going to start stepping down from 350/250 pretty fast past 60%. At this point these things are engineered and starting to get stamped out. For older cars like mine, just grab something. If you have a newer car that will actually hit 250 maybe look at the customer reviews. I bought one of the compact units for each vehicle.
