I am a Costco Member, how did you get the coupon? Thank you! I only see 15%

So in the end, I got a 50% off coupon from costco that I got to use on accessories I bought at the parts desk at my dealership. Here is what I bought and my first impressions.

1. All weather rubber mats. (retail for $160, I paid $80). Nice mats, I like that they have "clarity" written on them. for $80 they are great mats. If I was paying full price, I would have saved up a few extra dollars and bought the Tuxmats.

2. Center console rubber mat (retail for $25, I paid $12.50) Honestly a waste of money. I was hoping it would be a little more "grippy" than the regular surface of the storage area under the center console. I was hoping it would help keep things from shifting around down there. This mat wasnt much of a upgrade. the only thing its good for is if you had a spill, or a mess, you can take the mat I bought out of the car and hose it down.

3. Honda First Aid Kit. (retail for $30, I paid $15) I was going to buy a first aid kit for the car anyway, and at $15, this one was worth it. Its got the Honda logo, and fits in with the look of the car. My only question is how to mount it. Its got velcro on the back of the box. The walls of the trunk look to be a felt type material, and Im not sure how well the adhesive strip on the backside of the velcro is going to attach to it.

I was interested in the center console discussion. It never occurred to me that anything would be needed. By the time I fill it with stuff, I don't think there will be much movement. My 2012 Prius Plugin has a similar area and it has a piece of stiffened felt-like material just lying on top of the plastic. When I get my car I am just going to go to Joann Fabric and buy a piece of stiffened felt and cut it to fit. I will be able to choose from a zillion colors to coordinate with the interior or exterior colors. Another alternative is to get the non-skid fabric that they put on children's footie pajamas and cut it to shape, but for the particular, it does not come in a choice of colors.

MPower...here is a thread that may interest you. There are a couple others as well. Lots of options for the console tray.

If you used Costco, call them as they are supposed to send you a coupon via email. Supposedly you need to register the sale after it's done. In my case, I called them and they did it right away. It is good on accessories (NOT TIRES THOUGH) up to $100 or $200 discount depending on your Costco membership.

One thing I regret not doing on the last honda we purchased (honda pilot) was a Paint Protection Film for the Hood / Headlights / Mirrors / Trunk ledge over bumper
Have a number of dings that ate into the paint from rocks hitting the front part of the hood and the Mirrors
Have scratches on the trunk ledge

I just installed 3m paint protection film on these areas on the clarity - did it myself, but I had experience in the past doing this.
It is doable if you are patient and follow youtube intructions
Otherwise, it is quite expensive to have a pro do it

Also, Door cup film is nice too - prevents inevitable scratches in the door handle cup area
Would you be kind enough to tell me what type of film you ordered for the front or any other details such as coverage or where you got it? Thanks!
