I attended the National Drive Electric Month (fka National Drive Electric Week) event in Winter Park FL (pictures attached for the curious). Who else has attended a recent Drive Electric event?

For the first time in years, there was no Drive Electric event near me this Fall. I was disappointed, but I was spared the annual effort to swap the OEM, aerodynamic, Power Spoke wheels onto my MINI Cooper SE for just a single day. I'm too worried about curbing these rare rims to leave them on the car.
How many EVs attended the Winter Park event? Were there any you've never seen before? Was the publicity for the event good enough to get curious non-EV owners to come discuss EVs with you? That's what I hope for at these events.
Every year, of the 20-30 EVs attending our local events, mine is always the only MINI Cooper SE. Did any of these most sporty of EVs show up in Winter Park or were there only Teslas and SUVs?

There was a great variety of EV's, the majority SUV/crossover sized including my Mach E, and a few Tesla's. Unfortunately no Mini's. I did speak to a Mini owner who intended to display his but did not sign up in time. Registrants on the event page are here National Drive Electric Month • Electric Ave - Sustainability Fair & EV Car Show • Winter Park, FL • Sep 26 2026 That list does not include the government EV's that were displayed in some of the photos. As to small EV's, there was an OG Leaf, and my first time seeing in person a Citicar. I would guess there were close to 50 total EV's.
The event was sponsored by the city, in a downtown shopping district, and adjacent to a farmers market. I did not track advertising however, we had plenty of EV curious and a few intenders. Unfortunately this event was the only one in the state of Florida.
