Hi,
I have a MY2024 Kona EV and I have been having an issue with the scheduled departure setting for scheduled climate control in the myHyundai app.
I have previously had no issues setting the schedule to either preheat or precool my car after work but recently it has been hit and miss whether it actually works. I posted this to Reddit and a few people said it has to be plugged in to work but I have definitely had it work off the schedule without being plugged in. For instance it worked fine on Monday but not yesterday or today.
Both the app and car show that every day Monday to Friday the departure time is 5pm. The little orange clock icon is illuminated on the display too. Yet I left work today at 5pm and it hadnt come on again.
I can manually activate it through the app with no issues.
In the winter it worked pretty much every time.
Any advice on how I can get it to work properly rather than have to set a reminder on my phone 10 minutes before I leave work to manually activate it on the app.
