Hi all
I am new to the forum, UK based. I have a 2024 Kona N Line which I have had for 5 months and I love it, however I have noticed in the last couple of hundred miles it has started to make a high pitched noise like a cricket chirping as I am accelerating. It gets faster the faster the car goes. It doesnt happen on deceleration. Starts around 25/30mph and cant hear it after about 60mph. It wouldnt be audible over music etc and you do have to listen out for it but once you hear it you cant unhear it.
The car has only done 8.5k miles and is 2 years old end of September, I have done around 4k miles of that. Perhaps this has always been there and maybe is a normal sound but I am sure I would have noticed it before now if it has always been there?!
This is the facelift 2024 version so I had hoped the wheel of misfortune was eradicated in the new version. I have listened to some examples online and it doesnt seem to sound like that.
I have added two videos recorded on my phone which it can be heard during the videos - not constantly but the sound is definitely there.
Thanks in advance guys
