As I drive all possible brands MB WV Hondas Porsches all American cars I never was changing a brake fluid as I can say I don’t use them longer than 5 years Why BMW requires 2 years interval.

As I call a Mini Dealership talk to service they just flush a brake system and will change my cabin air filter for $230 which is good price as I do in December 4 years old SE as per maintenance is required every 2 years but mechanic I talk to never change or flush fluid on ABS system which means to me old fluid is still there bc that will be different preside to me is like 1/2 job they doing as ABS unit is very expensive and should be taking care of it IMG_2441.webp IMG_2442.webp .Here is description on ABS system I read on line

BMW uses DOT4 and it absorbs moisture faster. You can PUSH it to 3 years but I wouldn't go more than that for optimal performance. Dealer uses a pressure bleeder and it gets everything out. ABS system bleed is only needed if you drain all the fluid out or open up the system. Changing a line, pump etc

There is barely anything in there anyways like maybe 20ml. I wouldn't worry about too much. I have not changed a ABS pump assembly in ages on BMW, A couple master cylinders which does require an entire automated bleed.

Porsche GT3 992 oil change a dry fill is 8.5L.. Service fill is I kid you not 4L... 4L that's it even after a long hot drain interval
