Volkswagen let on all in on a few more details surrounding the ID.3 hatchback that it will sell in Europe (and not the U.S., unless they change their minds, which could happen).
First off, there are a number of different versions, based on three different battery sizes: ID.3: Pure (45 kWh), Pro (58 kWh) and Pro S (77 kWh). There are also a couple of variants offering more power. Here's a chart with the breakdown.
VW has received 37,000 reservations for the launch edition -- the ID.3 1ST -- which is limited to only 30,000 vehicles. Not exactly sure how this all works, but I imagine not all the reservations would turn into sales. Anyway, it looks like the car is being received well, and that's before anyone has even driven it.
