My friend with a 2019 has that feature and I love it, being able to see the curb. Unfortunately, on my 2020 Niro EV ES the feature does not exist. If anyone knows how I can get the feature please let me know.

Many cars in this class have 360 degree bird's eye view to make parking easier. Bolt EV, Nissan Leaf, Polestar2, etc.
Turning the side mirrors would seem like the least they could do. Makes no sense it's not standard on all trims and markets.
I loved that feature in my 2019 Chevy Bolt Premier. It was useful for parking on streets and even in a tight garage.

Actually that may not be correct, the "memory" is most likely stored in a local module, and adding the extra computing power and memory would cost more. I run a company that does indeed make hardware and firmware for embedded systems. Remember when you make things in millions, and you save $2 a car, a $2 million saving is easy to come by.

Like Joe Pesci said in "Casino", "its always the dollars"..

And that’s exactly why casino site with fast payouts have become so popular—players don’t want to wait around for their money when every dollar counts. The quicker you can access your winnings, the more it feels like a fair deal, and that same principle of efficiency is what drives both business and entertainment choices.

A lot of people overlook how razor-thin those margins can be in hardware, and why companies are so strict about optimizing every cent.
