So I’ve had this issue for over a week now. I’ve been to 5 different DC chargers (Electrify America, ChargePoint, and EVgo). Every time I connect the DC combo charger, the charge port light blinks yellow and the speedometer screen says DC active, but then soon after, I get an error on the charger, stating it’s lost connection with the car. This occurs every time I try to DC charge. I do have it set for immediate charging and maximum current. Level 2 charging at home is fine with no issues. Any ideas?

You've seen those charging stations work with other EVs? If so, it sounds like it's dealer-visit time.

The immediate charge setting is only for AC charging.

I’d try DC again before going to the dealer. I’ve had issues with some chargers where one cord doesn’t work but the next one does. I’ve also had a charger lock itself to the car and then fail to charge. I was stuck there for quite a while. Note if that happens hit the unlock button on the remote repeatedly. DC chargers are known to be bad. Also look at the cord/handle type on the charger they come from specific manufacturers. Some styles seem to work more reliably than others.

A delayed setting for DC charging certainly wouldn't make any sense! Try telling a line of people waiting to charge that your little SE is scheduled to start charging in 20 minutes. Instant lynch mob.

I do have it set for immediate charging and maximum current.
DC charging bypasses all of the rate and scheduling settings. I had my SE set to delayed charging and used a DC fast charger and it charged immediately, and at 49 kW (close to the maximum of 50 kW).

The heft of the cables and the upward angle of the charging port on the car could result in a poor connection between the communication pins. Have you tried supporting the handle gently by lightly holding it up during the first min or so after plugging it in?

I have never seen 50kW. Mine tops out at 49kW.
L2 current limits at bang on 7.2kW.
Methinks marketing did some maths.

Update. SE has been in the shop for nearly 5 weeks now. They are installing a new KLE charging control unit today. Hope it fixes the issue!

So after 8.5 weeks, they replaced charging port and the main wiring harness from the charging port to the battery and it seems to be working now. I haven't tested it but they were able to DC charge at the dealer.
