Plant Oxford is standing down five days of production - Monday 21 February to Friday 25 February inclusive, for all shifts.

Just when I thought things were getting better they shut down on the week that my car is supposed to be built :(
Hope I'm not missing any features!

Likely will miss some features like HK audio but you can easily Bavsound retro fit it. The camera based cruise control might also be missing but it is rather mediocre.

Radar cruise control is generally more reliable dealing with bright sunlight and elements, with exception of splattered bugs.

Personally I find the speed limit function much more useful than cruise control. Makes a good semi-deadpedal for the right foot.

The heated steering wheel option is going apparently due to the chip shortage.
I hope they had enough inventory to finish off the 2022 builds (mine's in transit to dealer)! Otherwise I may just request my deposit back if this and the rear parking sensors are pulled like others have mentioned...

My car is getting built on the 7th March and still has the heated wheel so it’s probably just new orders that are affected.

I wouldn’t be too confident. The pulled the parking sensors and the radios out of cars that had them listed on their specs. My car is still waiting production and says it has a heated steering wheel.

How do you know they are planning on not adding the heated wheel?

That's exactly what I was meaning. My build sheet shows both, but that doesn't mean I'm guaranteed those features from what I've been seeing. I've got these things, along with a few others, on a checklist for when the car comes in...

My dealer in the UK were informed by Mini that due to component shortages the heated wheel option would be suspended.
I really hope this isn't true for the US, or at least for Iconic trim.

I've sent my dealer/salesperson two e-mails now with no response, but I suppose I'll call on Monday. I had instructed them that if any features end up cut due to shortages to let me know because it may cause me to no longer be interested.

As small of a feature as the heated steering wheel is, it's probably a deal-breaker for me. I would rather find a '22 with all of the features than wait for a '23 that may be lacking.

I'm missing HK audio on my Level 3+ Electric Collection. It's certainly not a dealbreaker for me and gives a cleaner look without the front tweeters on the headliner.
