That person never mentioned their costs, so I'm unsure. I haven't seen any mention of price changes though, so I'd assume they're still the same. Thanks for sharing this. Any idea what the price breakdown is for this build? I'm curious if the price difference between Signature Plus and Iconic got smaller, since it doesn't seem like there is all that much different.
It would be fun if AutoCAD had an article about how the 2024 SE was designed. The AutoCar article revealed this interesting design statement:AutoCAD has an article on the 23 Mini

Boo. But does that mean the headlight hardware is installed, and it could a feature activated via Bimmercode? Sort of like how all US-bound SEs have rear fog lights installed but deactivated?
That gives me a small amount of hope that the headlights are a compatible part for pre-2023 models, if you can get your hands on them.
Please explain to the Bimmercode users on this thread how to do that with their MINI Cooper SE. If you're right, I'll become a Bimmercode user.Waiting for my Mini SE delivery. The "variable light decoding" can be recoded with Bimmercode. I did this on my 2021 530eX. Works great.

And it works on an F56 LCI2?Here you go...

My dealer told me they removed the 16" revolite grey wheels anymore in 2.0 which I kind of figured would get me more miles than any of the 17". all other options in Iconic 2.0 seem the same for me.Does anyone have any info about the midyear changes to the 2023 SE? Apparently, there are new 2.0 trims, e.g. Signature Plus 2.0. The prices are increasing and the options included in the packages are changing. The changes are not reflected in the online configurator yet. I attached a build sheet for a Signature Plus 2.0.

Whoa, I thought those were the default wheels for non-Iconic. What's replacing them? The US build site still shows them.My dealer told me they removed the 16" revolite grey wheels anymore in 2.0 which I kind of figured would get me more miles than any of the 17".
I like my Power Spokes so much I drive on them just one day a year. MINI says they're their lightest 17" rims and I'm sure they're also the most aerodynamic. However, are they still reserved for the Iconic trim or does 2.0 make them available for the Signature Plus? The 2024 rumors say "larger wheels" so I doubt the 17" Power Spokes will continue. If MINI has a large stash of them, maybe they'd be willing put them on Signature Plus, too.Whoa, I thought those were the default wheels for non-Iconic. What's replacing them? The 17" Power Spokes are very efficient and don't impact range. I run the Power Spokes during the summer and Spectre Grey Revolites in winter.
Pretty sure we're way past the true minimalist idealIt would be fun if AutoCAD had an article about how the 2024 SE was designed. The AutoCar article revealed this interesting design statement:
The aim is to reduce the design to what matters and rely less on chrome and stylistic flourishes.
Guess I bought my SE 3 years too early if I didn't want to spend nearly $2K to get rid of the stylistic flourish that is the fake hood scoop.
Other than the fake hood scoop, I like all the other stylistic flourishes on my 2021 SE. There are plenty of other minimalistic cars out there already so "cleaning up" the MINI Cooper will make it less distinctive. My current SE's anachronistic switches, buttons, and knobs on the dash and headliner all make a lot of sense to me. Dispensing with these haptic, easy-to-locate controls in favor of a large, circular screen that replaces these controls doesn't appeal to me. And why a circular screen if they're eschewing stylistic flourishes?
MINI will have a difficult time making the 2024 MINI Cooper as minimalistic as Alec Issigonis' original.

Different system. All Mini’s have the lights that illuminate corners and auto high beams. Adaptive headlights allow you to run high beams all the time and reduce the illumination only in the direction of other drivers. It is like super auto high beams. Up until recently it was not allowed under US regulations. More sophisticated system like Audi’s can project images and words with the headlights. Also, I LOVE the adaptive headlights. I haven't messed with them on Bimmercode since they came standard on my 22 Iconic. Had them on my last car and would never go back. Those few degrees of additional lighting in a turn is super helpful. I'll go back and look at what B-code offers, but since a lot of the changes require a "headunit reset" which means resetting all the preset buttons, I'm not going to be testing it. I'm a set-it-and-forget-it guy!
Interesting, in BMW Adaptive Headlights refer to the ability to pivot the lights in cornering. Didn't realize it was the Matrix changes that happen in the MINIDifferent system. He switched mine to 16" Victory spoke as those were the only other 16" I guess. It's still Revolite on the website though. I wonder if it's just my timing... Not sure I'm convinced on the Power Spokes as they don't look balanced and I read that it requires a special balancing device? Also it looks like a conversation piece whether it's a UK plug or a cross.. As with the other thread on wheel options, I hope they come up with more aero options.. For now I'm thinking of the rail or scissor spoke...Whoa, I thought those were the default wheels for non-Iconic. What's replacing them? The US build site still shows them.
