Bought a used 2019 Niro EV and am having trouble with the tires spinning when going up our steep driveway when it's wet. Is there a way to access lower gears than the standard Drive?

It might take a few weeks but you'll soon learn how to modulate the go-pedal gently. You might try the most economical drive mode, "Eco" or whatever that is on the Niro.

Some tires are just NFG on wet surfaces. If the vehicle has it's original tires they may have hardened up or become worn enough to compromise the wet grip. Next thing (if you're good with mirrors or using the back up camera) is to try backing into the driveway. More of the vehicle's weight will be on the drive wheels that way.

Niro traction control is not very good. If it were RWD it would allow a little fun, but FWD it just lets a tire spin and makes it unreliable when accelerating in poor conditions
