It is really solid, and fun to drive. Cargo space is good, seats are comfortable.

The thing isn't small, however. If you are expecting an econobox, this isn't it.

I suspect that if you kept the speed down, a range of over 300 miles is possible. I drove 147 this morning, and used 50% of the battery. Part of my trip was on 50mph roads, part was on 70mph roads.
Awesome stuff. Feel free to start a new thread, if you like, to share your ownership experience.

Be sure to start an ID.4 "300 mile club" thread when the opportunity arises:D
Enjoy.

What kind of financing is VW offering....interest rates for purchasing vs cost/month for leasing. Thanks in advance for the info!
Some seem to get 1.85%, others get 2.85%. It depends on how long loan, and your credit rating, I guess.

I dont know much about leasing - I see people toss out numbers, but I don't have a good feel for what they mean.

I took a loan, but I use these as a sort of bridge loan. Once the paperwork is done, I will pay off a big chunk of the balance. Thus the APR isn't a huge concern of mine.
