I have a 2-year-old Kona EV with very low mileage (it's mainly a local runner). Recently, I've noticed significant wear and tear on the touchscreen in the areas that get the most use, particularly around the 'Change Profile' swipe. It looks like the top layer or anti-glare coating is starting to wear off or delaminate in that specific, frequently touched spot.
Given the age and extremely low mileage, I'm quite concerned about this kind of visible degradation already.
Is this type of wear and tear, especially screen delamination or coating erosion in high-use areas, typically covered under the Hyundai New Vehicle Limited Warranty?
