Kia Niro EV wintersetting

Does anyone know what it actually means if you put the car on Wintersetting?
Does the range go lower?does it keep the battery warm in cold temperature?which are the exact parameters it effects?
The dealer couldnt help.

My understanding is that winter mode allows the Niro to turn on the battery warmer (if equipped) to warm the battery to 15C while charging. This permits faster charging apparently.

additionally well discussed throughout the thread. Should be similar to Niro.
