The car does not connect until you get the lead required
My Dealer told me that Apple Car play was built in .
But he did not tell me that I would need to purchase a cable
But with having to plug it into my I phone i feel like I have been misled .
As I would need my phone to use the wireless Charging unit .

Any help with this problem
Would be very much appreciated .

I have an ‘24 Niro EV (US model) with two separate USB ports, the left is USB A which will connect to Apple Car Play and charge your phone, on the right is an USB C which is for power to your phone. My Niro will also connect through Bluetooth for phone calls, music recorded on my iPhone although I don’t feel the music quality is as good as connecting through the USB A to the iPhone. I have not attempted to use music streaming through Bluetooth so can not speak to that. You do have to pair your phone to the car. I use an iPhone not Android so not aware how an Android connection would work. Note, Apple Car Play does not seem to work with just Bluetooth connection but you do get connection with your phone. If you do get a cable be sure it is for both charging and data as I learned some less expensive cables seem to support charging only.
