I once saw the Dade County, FL Fire Dept. arrive at a house fire to find a luxury car blocking a fire hydrant. Without hesitation, they took an axe to the car's front windows and simple fed the hose through the car!

I like this. It is almost as pleasing as a vehicle getting a ticket for unauthorized parking in a space designated for disabled persons, sort of a reverse handicap for persons of my ilk.
