Just Received 10 years Extended Factory Warranty For Leaking AC Condenser

I just had the condenser replaced under the parts extended warranty on my 2018 with 41k miles. It took a day for the part to arrive, but I wonder once summer comes if the stock is going to get low.
Mine had no refrigerant left to recover so I don’t think it was working all winter to help defrost either.

Does anyone know if the replacement condenser has an extended warranty as well? Or is this issue supposedly fixed with the new ones.

Lost cooling on my 2018. Just repaired for FREE under the extended warranty. Dealer told me 2 hours to fix - ended up keeping it overnight. They said they had to take out the back seats in addition to the front end?!? Anyone guess what this might have cost to fix without the extended warranty?

I have a 2019 Clarity BEV (I signed a 1 year lease extension, which is why I still have it). The AC stopped working, it doesn't blow cold air anymore. I never received this notice some of you received. When I called the dealer to have them check under the VIN, they said there was nothing on there for TSB 21-017. Pretty sure the exact same condenser issue that's covered under the clarity plug-in hybrid warranty extension should be covered in my BEV model. The reason it wasn't included is because all Clarity BEV should've been demolished by Honda by now, except for the few of us who extended our lease.

Does anyone know who at Honda I can contact to have them cover the diagnosis and fix of the AC under the 10 year warranty extension for TSB 21-017?

This lists the Electric model. However, the search also included the documents attached in the previous post, which seems to indicate that the recall/warranty only applies to the PHEV.

It was issued on 5/28/21, which likely would have been during the original 3-year lease period for a 2019 MY BEV.

It would be logical to conclude that if the BEV used the same (defective) components as the PHEV, that those parts would be covered under the extended warranty. However, logic may not be a part of the equation.

My guess is someone used too much "logic" and determined it wasn't necessary to include the BEV because it as a closed end lease and nobody would be getting lease extensions.
