Hyundai middle of the pack. But Kia is higher.

I think Hyundai needs to do a better job with reacting to and dealing with quality issues, like our EV power train. On other ICE forums, lots of problems with DCTs (double clutch trannies) and some turbo issues.

I had really high hopes when I bought my Kona EV, thinking that an EV power/drive train should be pretty well bullet proof. But having had to replace both my reduction gear and motor kind of blew away that theory. Wish Hyundai would at least come out and explain the problem/fix, and then provide a warranty extension. That's what some other brands do to regain their customers confidence and loyalty.

Hyundai seams to be secret about too many things. Many transmission designs Through the years and from many manufacturers have had quality issues. Only feedback seams to be from others than the company itself. Just saying I’m not surprised Hyundai does not share this publicly.
