Hello all,

I'm coming off of a 2015 Subaru BRZ that I tracked 5-10 times a year. Road Atlanta and Atlanta Motorsports Park. The car was modified for track and I bought the MINI as my first electric car and daily driver. This my second MINI, I also owned a 2006 Cooper S. I will track the MINI but maybe only 1-2 times a year. I have plans for this car and I will be using this thread to document the upgrades.

Plans;
Suspension (waiting for kit for the SE due to heavier weight, End 2021)
Wheels (18"? 17"?)
Rear seat delete (GP style?)

In progress;
3D print to fix limited phone size of the stock wireless charger (ordered)
Home fast charger Grizzl-E Smart (ordered)

Completed;
Ceramic coat paint
Ceramic window tint
Dash Cam (Thinkware U1000)
Radar (Escort Passport 360)

Beautiful! Will be interesting to see how it does on a track - I don't think traction control is defeatable and seems like the battery would overheat. Maybe a good autocrossing car?

We shall see, the 93mph limit would also be an issue. Atlanta motorsports park is a good low hp track, very technical and they have fast chargers.

I spy three MINIs in the background of the first photo. :)
I didn't even notice that, although my eye did stop on the S2000.

I am also curious. I have never raced a car before, but the nearby Mini group does a track day every spring at Watkins Glen. I can't wait to try it out next year!

I'm lucky I live near 2 really good tracks. Both with fast chargers

If anyone doesn't have access to a 3D printer for the phone bracket, there is a guy in the UK who makes them, and ships to the USA. I bought mine from him, and it took about 20min to fit (including finding the 2 lost screws!)

He's a really friendly guy and will answer all your questions:- JR Prints (Josh Rich): https://www.instagram.com/josh.m4c/

He said it’s roughly £35 including fees, postage and packaging to USA and Europe etc… Saudi Arabia is £38
Postage is around £16-18 which is crazy but that’s international tracked and signed insured and brexit forms if needed etc

There's also Shapeways and Sculpteo printing services. Just uploaded a model and they'll spit out a price. Large sizes can get expensive but small stuff like this should be reasonable and they both use much higher quality printers than the typical FDM consumer ones.

Always nicer to support a small business though!

For sure. With these 3D printers coming on leaps and bounds, I'm amazed at some of the stuff they can do? There's even a companies that 3D prints houses!!!

As the tech gets better, everyone should benefit in the long run. (As long as Mini owners have first dibs.) :)

I mocked it up on my cheap 3d home printer and then sent it off to shapeways for a better, stronger product.
