I talked with someone I know from a Kona EV facebook group and got the question why some cars have 1000 k ohm and others 3000k ohms isolation resistance? Does anyone know?

Mine reads 3000 but I see the max value in the PID is 1000. I'm not sure we have any evidence that the value is trustworthy in any case.

000_Isolation Resistance Surge Resistor 0x220101 ((bf<8)+bg) 0 1000 kOhm 7E4

I tried setting the parameter max limit to 10,000 and then 1,000. In both cases it always read 3,000.

More information about this.
1000 kOhm is an indicator that campaign 196 (01D072) didn´t update correctly.

Now my car has 3000kOhm and passed two more campaign 00D111 and 00D118.
