Is anything missing from the 2024 M3 RWD?

There were several "cost-cutting" measures taken with the 2023 M3 RWD: Front footwell lamps installed but disconnected, A-pillar speakers installed but disconnected, front door-top tweeters installed but disconnected, rear-shelf speakers not installed, subwoofer not installed and floormats not included.

Has anything of the sort been left out of the refreshed M3 RWD? (And, yes, I know that all versions of the refreshed M3 don't have A-pillar speakers.)

Was that yours?

That is strange. Usually Tesla installs the wiring and offer a 'software' upgrade to get the functions . . . like the rear seat heaters that I could buy. Did you inspect and find the deficiencies or someone else?

Were the wire connectors there but not pushed in or was the wiring harness for the speakers totally missing any connectors? Same for the light.

As for floor mats, I don't expect to find them and typically replace with all-weather ones as needed.

The lights and speakers are wired - but they're turned off in software. (The wiring for the rear deck speakers and subwoofer terminates with a connector at the base of the "B" pillar.) All other 2023 M3 versions included floormats. I believe the deletions were intended to make this "discount" version of the M3 (essentially it's the version they built for Hertz) less attractive to potential buyers as they felt that they needed to "downgrade" it. Many RWD buyers asked if Tesla would "sell" the reconnection software but the requests fell upon deaf ears...

Thanks! Lessons learned.

Would you mind sharing at Tesla Owner's forum? I had not heard of this before.
