Instrument Screen Nav Indicators for Waze & Google Maps

I rarely use the on board nav but I do really like the display of the turn by turn that shows on the instrument cluster right in front of the driver when I do use it....very nice feature.

My question is for those of you using the beta IOS 12 which support Google Maps and Waze, are you seeing those next turn indicators on the instrument info screen (not the Infotainment screen). And if so did you have to do something extra to see those or does it just happen by itself when using Google Maps or Waze via Car Play?

I don't have an iPhone, but I see the turn instructions on both the infotainment screen and on the screen in front of the steering wheel for Android Auto using Google Maps. That was the default.

Sort of - I do see the indicators on the instrument screen, but they generally don't agree with what's on the main screen. Usually they're quite a bit behind. So the main screen might be saying "turn left in 500 ft" and the instrument cluster is saying "turn left in 1 mile"
