Again, no we aren't. We've seen high oil levels coming from the dealer and on cold engines. Nobody has shown gas getting mixed in. Until somebody does, please stop claiming it is happening. If somebody has actually shown this and I missed it, please link your source.

For my second oil change (14k mi) this week (hopefully), I'm sending some off to Blackstone for complete analysis. Not to prove/disprove gas in oil but how badly the maintenance minder is prematurely-predicting end of oil life. I'd expect gas in oil would be detectable in the results I get if it were happening.

@Steven B , looking forward to your UOA results. Wonder as well if Honda totally misestimated the oil change frequency for us who drive almost exclusively in EV mode.
