ID.4 Recall Notice (US Market)

Just received a recall notice for my new ID.4. There is a recall regarding the seat belt assembly not being correct for the US Market. This effects only the outer rear seats.

Recall 69CQ - Rear Outboard Seat Belts.

Yeah, I got letters in the mail about this. Since it doesn't sound urgent, it gets put in the pile of things to do the next time I am at the dealer.

Adults in the backseat are ok with these seatbelts.

Accidentally found another issue with the ID4. The rear child locks won't unlock so rear passengers can't exit without assistance. The lock keeps flipping back to the lock position when I tried to unlock them. Seeing the dealer in a week. Hopefully it is an easy fix.

Still like the car though!

Dealer fixed the seatbelts, but needed to order parts to fix the door locks.
