ID.4 Pro S charging blocked on EVgo -- EVgo says recall, but VW/NHTSA show none

Hello -- I've had my new 2025 ID.4 Pro S since March 2026. Just 2500 miles on it. For the past few weeks, I've had two separate charging problems with public infrastructure.

EVgo DC fast charging issue:

I've been unable to use the EVgo fast charging that I did before. I've tried multiple stations.

I've emailed EVgo customer support multiple times -- feels like an infinite loop with their level 1 customer support. They tell me the vehicle is facing a recall so they've blocked it.

I've checked my VIN with both VW and NHTSA and confirmed there's no recall pending.

I've had the VW service shop do an exhaustive check on my battery system and it's come out 100% fine.

EVgo isn't budging.

Chargepoint level 2 charging issue:

I've plugged in and while it starts at 5kw, it drops to 1kw which is no better than my trickle charge at home. Same experience at multiple stations.

Questions for the community:
1: Has anyone else run into this with EVgo? If yes, what resolution did you find?

2: I am considering purchasing the Tesla fast charging adapter to try their network, but would like confirmation that'll work before I spend $200 on the adapter. Has anyone done this?

I live in the SF Bay Area if that experience matters.
