I think you can set which phone is the primary, so if both phones are in the car it will automatically connect to the primary phone. If only the secondary phone is present, then it will connect to that one.

Sadly, this is not the case. Honda's Bluetooth system is so far behind everyone else it is laughable. You can't prioritize multiple phones that are paired to the system. It will only connect to the last phone it was connected to, if it is in the car, and may or may not automatically connect when only one phone is in the car if it wasn't the last one connected. If it doesn't, you have to manually connect through the phone settings screen.
