I like to tell people I now get 250 miles of range--then I admit I don't get even a mile more range. The MINI Cooper body isn't particularly aerodynamic in the first place. I doubt even the aero grille makes it much better.
For me, the hood scoop breaks up the lines of the beautifully sculpted hood, overwhelms the handsome MINI hood emblem, and makes the wrong statement about an electric car. It violates the form vs function covenant observed for the rest of the car.
