It appears that GM has made design/production changes for the Battery Enclosure in the Hummer EV to resolve a Urethane Seal not properly bonding and allowing moisture/water in caused by under-cured electrocoating on the battery pack.

This will impact around 700 of the first Hummer EVs produced.

GM will replacing the battery:

Posts about the first battery replacement happening last week have surfaced from a tech but were deleted.
