Any thoughts on what is the best I can hope for on the out-the-door price on a Clarity Plug-In Touring. It can't be a lease and I prefer to pay in full but would consider financing if I must (in order to get the best deal). Backstory: I was all set to get what I thought I was a good deal tonight, but once I got in to seal the deal, the dealership put a lot of conditions and upcharges on the sale. For instance, they snuck in something they called a "Pro Pack" which cost an extra $700 and insisted I buy LoJack so they could further pad the price. Originally, they quoted me $700 but when they added it to the deal they raised it by $200. They also refused to let me remove my trade-in car from the deal because they lowballed me at half its actual value. Now I have to reach out to other dealerships in the hopes that one of them will come close to what was originally a very attractive offer. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
