Honda's Clarity PHEV drive events

Honda ran several of these events during the fall for the BEV model. It was where I first thought about getting the car - but it was clear then that <100 range was not realistic for BEV. However, it's also when I found out they'd be rolling out the model they really wanted to sell - the PHEV - before the end of the year. So in actuality, the event did help sell me on the car before I ever drove the PHEV.

FYI, finally got to go to one of these. The folks working there were quite knowledgable, far beyond what you'd expect at a typical dealer. After you check in, you get an overview of the car where you can ask questions, then go for a quick drive. I went at 3pm and the car still had 14 miles of EV range on it. I did notice however that they would run the car in HV charge mode in between test drives (there were no chargers there).
After the test drive, you fill out a brief survey, then they give you a gift (a clarity themed portable battery pack for your phone).
Definitely sold me on this car. The low end torque was surprisingly fun.
