Just bought a base white Clarity last week.
I financed with them at 0.90% for 5 years.
Declined the extended warranty offer because the finance manager trying to trick me into paying insane price.
He first tried making an offer like $250 a month for extend warranty... certainly I was shocked and probably you do. I asked him "every month for 5 years?". I told him you'd better just give me the total cost of your offer.
He certainly didn't say the total but continue doing monthly payment, he really thought we didn't know how to calculate.
When he lowered to $160 a month by removing some coverage, and I told him I didn't want it, final decision.
Was he serious? or just an idiot in mixing up yearly and monthly?
