Autoblog says the 4th-gen Insight is yet another BEV that isn't coming to the US, and this time it's a crossover, not a car:
Had Honda promised the US a BEV Insight car (not a logical idea, I'll admit), I'd already be waiting outside my dealer with a deposit check.
- Honda is reviving the Insight name as a fully electric coupe-crossover in Japan.
- The new Insight is larger, based on China’s Honda e:NS2, priced around $27,000 after incentives.
- Despite the familiar name, this new Insight is unlikely to have any future in the US.
