Hole in front grill

Anyone know what this hole is for?

I'm guessing it's the opening for the ambient air temperature sensor?

That's my guess too. You can see a sensor if you peek though the hole.

Just weird they only have it on one side. Wasn’t sure if it was missing a cover or something to discretely mask it

It was more hidden in the 2020 & 2021 SE models but more apparent with the front bumper LCI revision with the fog light change.
