Took delivery last week on my wife's XSE. I did not realize without the Premium package we would be missing out on the "kick sensor" my wife was used to on her CRV..., but as you know just finding a Prime can be challenging.
The hitch for the RAV4 from toyota mounts higher than after-market hitches and is almost double the price. However, unlike the Highlander where they can relocate the kick-sensor there is not a kit available from Toyota to do that for the RAV... so you have the choice of a hitch or a kick sensor.
Has anyone mounted an after market hitch that mounts up tight like the factory hitch? (looking to try and save a few bucks if possible)
Has anyone with a hitch been able to relocate the kick sensor?
Has anyone been able to "add" a kick sensor to a RAV that came without one like mine?
