Hissing Sound with AC on

Hello,
Over the past few days, I've noticed a hissing noise in my 2020 Honda Clarity (70k miles) when I activate the front defrost or the AC. The sound disappears when the fan is running. I'm aware of the recall related to the AC condenser, but I've also come across stories about evaporator failures. Any suggestions or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
 
I had that before for my 2018 clarity and I have had a number of visits to the dealership to fix the AC condenser/evaporator. Before the AC couldn't cool the car, I noticed the hissing noise you mentioned. It sounded like a valve opening quietly and after 2-3 seconds, the noise disappeared. 2-4 weeks later, I noticed the AC failed to cool down the car.
 
A brief hiss could be completely normal under the conditions you’ve described. Are the A/C and defrost functions operating properly?
