Head unit spontaneously reboots

2019 Ex Premium model. Last year or so, the head unit (main display, media controls, navigation) would occasionally go blank, and restart, at random times. Recently, this has been occurring more often, sometimes more than once in a half hour drive, certainly several times a week.

I updated software about 9 months ago, haven’t updated with the latest, but this problem preceded the last update.

Anyone else seen this? I am beginning to suspect an intermittent hardware problem, rather than a software bug.

Try to reset the head unit. There is a little hole next to the volume knob. Use a paper clip insert and press. You may have to do this a few times. I had an issue with the last update and experienced the rebooting. I had to do it a few times to work.

I have reset the head unit as suggested, several times. And I updated to latest software, and the problem still persists. It *seems* like it is more likely to occur when running CarPlay, but not exclusively.
