Has anyone cut a ski passthrough into their rear seat?

Just wanted to see if anyone had done this. I am considering doing it when my car arrives.

Not sure I understand. The Clarity does have a passthrough. Fold down either of the rear seats and there is an opening. If you mean with the seats up that's a different story.

Thanks, let me expand for Clarity (ha, ha). I mean a hole behind the fold down armrest, between the two outboard seats so that people can sit with the seats up and skis can pass through the middle.

It looks like the center piece above the armrest is part of the right seat. See part #5.
And part #4 is the panel behind that. Doesn't look like either is structural.

I think that if you did it right the arm rest would hide the opening when closed.

It seems there is padding and leather there though, unlike my current Nissan where behind the armrest is just a plastic piece that could be cut through. That would generate some extra work and potential problems, given there must be foam etc in there too.
